Hello, my name is John Swan and I run the Talking Lab service.

 

I am a qualified Speech & Language Therapist with over 20 years' experience working with adults with a communication or swallowing disorder. I  specialise in Neuro-rehabilitation and have worked in acute medicine, stroke rehabilitation and brain injury. I can offer support to adult stammerers, and I also have experience in ENT, working with clients with voice disorders (including gender transition), chronic sore throats or laryngitis, and persistent coughs.

 

As a result of my training, I have developed an interest in voice coaching, and have provided training to organisations or individuals who would like to develop their public speaking and presentation skills.
